Sexy Nurse Costume Video Series

Expert Villiage has put together a series of videos that tackle different elements of a sexy nurse costume.  It would be nice to have the whole costume in one video for bookmarking purposes, but with separate videos, at least we can get an in-depth look at every step of the costume. Here is an index of the sexy nurse videos for your convenience:

Sexy Nurse Costume - How to Curl Eyelashes

Sexy Nurse Costume Accessories

How to Create the Sexy Nurse Costume

How to Apply Fake Eyelashes

Costume Material for Sexy Nurse Costumes

How to Apply Sexy Nurse Eye Makeup

Clipping Back Hair for the Sexy Nurse Costume

What do you think? Is it repetitive and annoying to have to watch so many different videos for the same costume? Comment below.

Make a Corpse Bride Costume

A Corpse Bride costume is a great thrift store costume. Find a wedding dress at a thrift store that only costs you a few bucks and you are already on your way to a fantastic costume. You can also make fake blood by mixing corn syrup and red food coloring. For the ribs, I have heard that you can paper mache a row of ribs to put behind a hole in the costume.

Do you have any hints or tips on how to make a Corpse Bride costume? I am especially interested in how you would put together the wig, which is usually found at the costume shops as a yarn creation.

Cave Woman Costume How-To

Check out this cave woman costume from DIY Fashion at About.com. This is a good last-minute costume because it doesn’t take much more than a furry sheet of fabric to complete. One thing I would add is a fake bone, which you can probably find a ta costume store. Roll the bone up in the front of your hair and use a pony tail holder or hair pins to keep it in place.

Do you have any suggestions on how to make a cave woman costume? Would you rather be Pebbles, Wilma or Betty? What do you do instead of wearing shoes?

How to Make a Cloak

There are so many costumes that require a cape to look complete. Even Snow White had a cape. From super heros to Lord of the Rings elves, capes are a must-have. The capes you find at Halloween stores are often lacking in quality, are too long or too short, and some don’t have a hood when you need one.

Here is a step-by-step photo tutorial that will show you how to make your own cape. The steps are easy enough for a beginning sewer to understand, and a seasoned seamstress will have no problem piecing this one together.

What do you think about this tutorial? Do you know where else to learn how to make a cape?

Make a Rainbow Bright Costume

Rainbow Brite Costume Make a Rainbow Bright costume (the correct spelling is Rainbow Brite) instead of buying one of these cheap rip-offs from the store. The Leg Avenue ‘Starburst Girl’ costume can cost from $50.00 to $65.00 at major retailers. You can fin it cheaper online, but then you have shipping costs to pay. this costume isn’t even accurate as far as the Rainbow Brite cartoon goes, so why drop that much money on something that doesn’t even look right?

The only way to win this situation is to simply make a Rainbow Brite costume yourself . DIY Fashion at About.com has lots of tips and tricks on how to make your own Rainbow Bite costume.

Rainbow Eyes Make-up Tutorial

This week we will have a new video each day that shows some amateur costumers doing their best for the Halloween season. These include costume contest entries and your everyday trick-or-treaters. We are now focusing on Fairy Costumes.

From user ‘debstan1′ at YouTube, we have a video here that will show you how to give your eyes a rainbow look. This is excellent for fairy costumes of any kind. The tools she uses are a bit pricey, but I bet you could find the same shades at the dollar store. What do you think?

From Bethany, user name ‘bethainy’ at Youtube. In this video, Bethany shows us how to paint your face for a fairy costume. I like this video because not only does she tell you what she is using, she also shows you the packaging to help you find it. What do you think?

Unusual Poison Ivy Costume

This week we will have a new video each day that shows some amateur costumers doing their best for the Halloween season. These include costume contest entries and your everyday trick-or-treaters. We are now focusing on Poison Ivy Costumes.

Here we see an non-traditional Poison Ivy costume from Batman Forever. Throughout the movie, Ivy seemed to be progressing like a blooming flower, and this costume is the result. She is all red with bright red hair and spikey somethings on her wrists. I have never seen this costume duplicated, but it seems like a fun idea. What do you think?
